Kharif crops or monsoon crops are domesticated plants that are cultivated and harvested in South Asia during the rainy season, which lasts from April to October depending on the area. Kharif crops are usually sown with the beginning of the first rains in July, during the south-west monsoon season. The common Kharif crops are Jowar, rice, paddy, millet, maize, corn, soya bean, turmeric, groundnut, cotton, sugarcane, bitter gourd, green gram, and blackgram. 1st and 4th are incorrect because wheat and barley are Rabi crops.
