Recently the scientists have successfully synthesised human antibodies in lab i.e. in-vitro. Antibodies are produced by body’s B cells (B lymphocytes). When any B-cell recognises pressure of pathogen derived antigen molecule, it transforms itself into a plasma cell secreting a large number of antibodies that bind to the antigen and kills the infection. Antibodies mainly function in humoral adaptive immune system.
