Important Bird and Biodiversity Areas (IBAs); Important Plant Areas (IPAs); Important Sites for Freshwater Biodiversity; Alliance for Zero Extinction (AZE) sites are key parts of KBAs. It is supported by IUCN, BirdLife International, Plantlife International, Conservation International, Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund.
