Narayan Malhar Joshi (June 1879 – 30 May 1955) was an Indian trade union leader and follower of Gopal Krishna Gokhale. Joshi got involved in labour issues and started the All India Trade Union Congress in 1920 along with Lala Lajpat Rai. He was the general secretary of AITUC from 1925 to 1929 and from 1940 to 1948. In 1931, he left AITUC and started the All India Trade Union Federation.
Diwan chiman Lal-- was a founder and first general secretary of the All India Trade Union Congress in 1920, later becoming its President in 1927.
V.V Giri--
Varahagiri Venkata Giri, commonly known as V. V. Giri, was the fourth president of India from 24 August 1969 to 24 August 1974.
As president, Giri was the only person to be elected as an independent candidate. He was succeeded by Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed as president in 1974. After the end of his full term, Giri was honoured by the Government of India with the Bharat Ratna in 1975.Giri was closely associated with the labour and trade union movement in India throughout his career. Giri was a founding member of the All India Railwaymen's Federation which was formed in 1923 and served as its general secretary for over a decade. He was elected president of the All India Trade Union Congress for the first time in 1926.
