Abid Hussain committee is related to reforms in small industries.

The Abid Hussain Committee on dereservation of Small Scale Enterprise recommended the total abolition of reservation of items for manufacturing in the small scale sector, the Government has decided to introduce de- reservation in a phased manner and have dereserved 15 items in April 1997.
