A is incorrect but R is correct
Bacteria and microbes are the primary decomposers of organic matter and they thrive best in warm and moist conditions. As per a report published in Nature the rising temperatures will speed up the microbial activity and due to decomposition of the organic matter, greenhouse gases like Carbon Dioxide and Methane will be released. The major threat is from the permafrost regions of tundra and Arctic which have soils rich in undecomposed organic matter trapped beneath permafrost.
