Explanation:

Sendai framework has 4 specific properties:

(ii) strengthening disaster risk governance 

(iii) Investing in disaster risk for resilience.

(iv) Diaster prepardeness for effective response and to build back better in recovery phase.

has 7 global targets:

(a) Reduce global diaster mortality by 2030.

(b) reduce affected people globally by 2030.

(c) reduce diaster economic loss in relation to GDP by 2030.

(d) reduce diaster damage to critical infrastructure and basic services by 2030.

(e) increase countries with diaster risk reduction strategy by 2020.

(f) enhance international cooperation of developing countries by 2030.

(g) increase availability of access to multi hazard early warning system by 2030.

It is a voluntary and non-binding treaty which recognizes that the UN member State has the primary role to reduce disaster risk. It has framework for 15-year i.e. 2015 to 2030.
