Dhokra is non–ferrous metal casting using the lost-wax casting technique. This technique of lost wax casting is named after tribe, which extends from Jharkhand to West Bengal and Orissa; members are distant cousins of the Chhattisgarh Dhokras. Bidriware is a metal handicraft from Bidar. It was developed in the 14th century C.E. during the rule of the Bahamani Sultans. Srikalahasti Kalamkari is a style of Kalamkari work which involves dyed hand-painting of a fabric. It is produced in Srikalahasti of Chittoor district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It was registered as one of the geographical indication from Andhra Pradesh, under handicraft goods by Geographical Indications of Goods Madhubani painting originated in a small village, known as Maithili, of the Bihar state of India.
