Only Two, 2 and 3 statements are correct
Statement 1 is incorrect. Commercial contacts between India and Europe were not established for the first time with the arrival of the Portuguese in the 15th century. There had been earlier trade and contact between India and Europe, including with civilizations such as the Roman Empire. The Silk Road and maritime routes facilitated trade and cultural exchange between India and Europe long before the Portuguese arrived in the 15th century.
Afonso de Albuquerque (1509-15), the second governor of Portuguese, encouraged his country men to marry Indian women. During his tenure, he maintained the friendly relations with Vijaynagar rulers and introduced the policy of Imperialism.
