This system of land revenue was instituted in the late 18th century by Sir Thomas Munro, Governor of Madras in 1820 and Thomas read. Lord hastings was the governor general. So statement 1 is correct.
It was first introduced in south and south western parts of India mainly in Madras presidency and later extended into parts of Bombay, parts of Assam and Coorg provinces of British India.So statement 2 is correct.
In this system land revenue was not permanent and taxes was paid directly to the government and not to zamindar so it is opposite to permanent settlement.So statement 3 is correct.
