A few examples of the two types of antibiotics are as follows: Bactericidal are Penicillin, Aminoglycosides, Ofloxacin. Bacteriostatic are Erythromycin, Tetracycline and Chloramphenicol. Ampicillin and Amoxycillin are synthetic modifications of penicillins. These have broad spectrum.
