In 1669 French set up another Factory at Masulipatnam.
Statement 2 is incorrect as Francois Martin received a village as grant from the king of Bijapur and founded it as Pondicherry. Pondicherry later emerged as the French Capital in India.
Statement 3 is correct ;The Dutch captured Puducherry in 1693 but returned it to France by the Treaty of Ryswick in 1699.
Note :Pondicherry, Mahe, Yanam, Karaikal and Chandernagar remained a part of French India until 1954.
