About Yemen's Port City - Aden
It is located along the north coast of the Gulf of Aden and lies on a peninsula enclosing the eastern side of Al-Tawahi Harbour.
The peninsula enclosing the western side of the harbour is called Little Aden.
The Gulf of Aden is an extension of the Indian Ocean which is located between Africa and Asia.
Gulf of Aden forms the natural separation between the countries of Somalia and Yemen and natural link between Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
Gulf of Aden waters flow into the Red Sea through the Bab el Mandeb (strait), and it provides an outlet to the west for Persian Gulf Oil.
Yemen shares it border with Saudi Arabia, Oman, Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden and Red Sea.
