Sir this question seems a bit flawed. Mercury is used in thermometer due to its "High coefficient of expansion" but that option is not available. Kindly look into it and give a clarification. (abhinandan13.96@gmail.com)

Actually main reason for it is 1) high thermal expansion(bcs of this we can notice small changes ) 2) does not wet glss 3) high reflective surface Conductivity of water is also high but to construct thermometer of water we need more than 34ft vessel Therefore density plays important role here ..please recheck and revert
