The Burzahom archaeological site is located in the Kashmir Valley of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.Many burials of neolithic phase were discovered, usually under house floors or in the compounds. Red ochre was smeared on the bodies before burial. Apart from human burials, animals were sometimes buried along with humans or in separate graves. The buried animals included wild animals like wolves, ibex and antlered deer and domesticated animals like dogs, sheep and goats. Inamgaon is a post-Harappan agrarian village and archaeological site located in Maharashtra, western India. Situated along the right bank of the Ghod River, it is considered to be the 'regional centre' of the Bhima Valley and excavated in order to understand Jorwe culture. Ahar is in south eastern rajasthan, previously known with the name of Tambavati (rich in copper).it is a chalcolithic phase site and stone built houses were found here.
