Explanation:

 1.  The Himalayan mountain ranges are the youngest on the Earth. Nearly 70 million years ago, the Indian continental plate, crashed into the Eurasian plate, resulting in the formation of the Himalayan range.

2.  Vindhyas runs more or less parallel to the Narmada Valley in an east-west direction from Jobat in Gujarat to Sasaram in Bihar for a distance of over 1,200 km.  

3.  The Western Ghats are not true mountains, but are the faulted edge of the Deccan plateau. They are believed to have been formed during the break-up of the super continent of Gondwana some 150 million years ago.

4.  The Deccan Traps are a large igneous province located on the Deccan Plateau of west-central India  and one of the largest volcanic features on Earth.
