Constituent Assembly adopted Indian Constitution on 26th November in 1949 and Two months later it came in to effect making India one of the largest democracy in the world. The constitution lays down a broad framework of the fundamental political code, structure, powers, procedures and duties of govt institutions and fundamental rights and duties of the citizens. There have more than 100 amendments in the constitution so far and the broad aim has been to bring in a social and economic transformation in the lives of the people. So how has been this journey of transformation and what lies ahead ?
