Constitution of India commenced on 26th january, 1950. Privy Purses (royal pension given to heads of erstwhile princely states) was there in the Constitution and was abolished in 1971. Union Territories were added by the 7th Amendment. State Election Commission was established by the 73rd Amendment. Election Tribunals were there in the Constitution but were later repealed.
