1. During the Civil Disobedience Movement women, youth and students played the most important role in the boycott of foreign cloth and liquor.

2. During the Civil Disobedience Movement East India became the scene of a new kind of no tax campaign -refusal to pay the chowkidari tax.

3. The participation of Muslims in the Civil Disobedience Movement was certainly no where near that in 1920-22 non cooperation movement.

4. The Civil Disobedience got immense support from the poor and the illiterate.
