Turkey and Malaysia openly came out in support of Pakistan during the recently concluded 74th session of United Nations General Assembly. In a shift response India firmed up its move against Turkey by cementing ties with three of Ankara's neighbours and strong rivals - Cyprus, Armenia and Greece. Prime Minister Modi met his counterparts from Greece ans Armenia and President of Cyprus on the sidelines of the UNGA summit and held dialogue to expand the scope of bilateral relations.
