The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank is a multilateral development bank that aims to support the building of infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. The bank currently has 97 members as well as other prospective members from around the world.
India is the second largest shareholder in AIIB with 7.5% voting shares while China holds 26.06% voting shares being the largest.
