Article 29 guarantees the right to preserve one's own culture, language, script; and the right to admission to state maintained or state aided educational institutions to :
Every citizen of India
Every person residing in India
All individuals - citizens as well as non-citizens
All sections of citizens residing in India in regard to former right, and every citizen of India whether or not residing in India in regard to the latter
Article 29 : Protection of interests of minorities :
(1) Any section of citizens residing in the territory of India or any part thereof having a distinct language, script or culture of its own shall have the right to conserve the same.
(2) No citizen shall be denied admission into any educational institution maintained by the state or receiving aid out of the state funds on grounds only of religion, race, caste, language or any of them.
