HCNG is a mixture of compressed natural gas (CNG) and some % Hydrogen by energy.

H-CNG is a blend of hydrogen and CNG, the ideal hydrogen concentration being 18%. Compared to conventional CNG, use of H-CNG can reduce emission of carbon monoxide up to 70%. Therefore, Statement 1 is incorrect as it donot eliminate carbon monoxide emissions and statement 2 and 3 are correct.

Current cost of H2 is more than the cost of Natural Gas. So, HCNG’s cost is more than CNG.So, Statement 4 is incorrect.
