Kerala Launches India’s First Govt-Backed OTT Platform, 'CSpace'

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan launched India’s first state-run over-the-top (OTT) platform named ‘CSpace’ in Thiruvananthapuram. The platform, managed by the Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC), aims to showcase award-winning films, short films, documentaries,

Operated on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs of the Government of Kerala, CSpace has established a curator panel comprising 60 members, including eminent cultural personalities, from the state.
The platform currently houses 42 films, including 35 feature films, six documentaries and one short film, and is available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
Users are required to pay Rs 75 per movie as part of the platform’s pay-per-view model.
