SWAGAT is the Automatic Fare Collection Gating system under the National Common Mobility card ecosystem which will transform the lives of commuters. SWAGAT facilitates One Nation One Card, a debit or credit card with wallet to support multi-mode transit offline payments working across all cities.
SWAGAT is an initiative steered by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) in collaboration with BEL (Bharat Electronics Limited) and Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC).
In a phased manner, SWAGAT will be implemented across all modes of transport, be it Metro, Trains or Buses.
