An international group of archaeologists have discovered the remains of new human species near the city of Ramla, Israel. As per the study, these prehistoric remains could not be matched to any known species from the Homo genus, which includes modern humans – Homo sapiens. The ‘Nesher Ramla Homo’ population is estimated to have lived in and around Israel from about 420,000 to 120,000 years ago.
