Explanation:

The Vice President of India Shri M Venkaiah Naidu has unveiled the foundation stone of Innovation and Development Centre of Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, JNCASR in Bengaluru.
It will be developed into a facility where laboratory inventions will be taken forward for scale-up and technology transfer. Start-up from inventors within the Centre and from other institutions in Bengaluru and across the country will also be hosted in this new facility.
Scientists will be provided with state-of-the-art processing and prototyping tools to enable translation of inventions.
