Tungabhadra and Bhima are the tributaries of Krishna rivers. River Krishna is the non- perennial river of the South-Central India. It is the fourth – biggest river of India based on the river basin area. It is started from the 'Western Ghats near Mahabaleshwar' in the state of Maharashtra. The main tributaries of River Krishna are Malaprabha River, Bhima River, Tungabhadra River, Ghataprabha river and Musi river. Among these Bhima and Tungabhadra are the largest tributaries. Tributaries are the streams/rivers that flow into the parent river/lake.
