Both Mrs. Annie Besant and B.G. Tilak founded separate Home Rule League but both Leagues were soon united in:
1914
1915
1916
1918
Annie Besant (1 October 1847 – 20 September 1933) was an English socialist, theosophist, women's rights activist, writer, orator, educationist, and philanthropist.Regarded as a champion of human freedom, she was an ardent supporter of both Irish and Indian self-rule. Tilak helped found the All India Home Rule League in 1916–18, with G. S. Khaparde and Annie Besant. After years of trying to reunite the moderate and radical factions, he gave up and focused on the Home Rule League, which sought self-rule.
