Who was that celebrated Muslim whose tenure as the Congress Presdient has been the longest? By the way, he was also the writer of great Urdu work ‘Ghubar-I-Khatir.’
Maulana Mohd Ali
Asaf Ali
Maulana Azad
Saifuddin Kichchlu
Maulana Azad deserves to be introduced afresh to the modern generation of Indians. The Foundation is a voluntary, non-political, non-profit making social service organization, established to promote education amongst educationally backward sections of the Society. It is fully funded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India. Ghubar-e-Khatir ("The Dust of Memories"), is one of the most important works of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, written primarily during 1942 to 1946 when he was imprisoned in Ahmednagar Fort in Maharashtra by the British Raj while he was in Bombay (now Mumbai) to preside over the meeting of All India Congress Working Committee.
