Formed a part of the original Constitution.
Were added by the Forty-Second Amendment.
Were added by the Forty-Fourth Amendment.
Were defined by the Parliament through a law enacted during the emergency.
Fundamental Duties of the Citizens of India. The fundamental duties were incorporated in Part IV-A of our constitution by 42nd Constitutional Amendment Act, 1976. Presently we have 11 fundamental duties in our constitution under article 51-A.
