Culture is a way of life. Culture is the expression of our nature in our modes of living and thinking . It may be seen in our literature, in religious practices, in recreation and enjoyment, Art, music ,architecture, sculpture ,Food , clothes ,language and philosophy . Culture also includes the customs, traditions, festivals, ways of living and one’s outlook on various issues of life.

Culture has two distinctive components, namely, material and non-material.  Material culture consists of objects that are related to the material aspect of our life such as our dress, food, and household goods.  Non-material culture refers to ideas, ideals, thoughts and belief.

Concept of Civilization :- A civilization is defined as an advanced state of human society containing highly developed forms of government, culture, industry, and common social norms. ‘Civilization’ means having better ways of living .

What is an Art :- Art is generally understood as any activity done by people with a communicative or aesthetic purpose—something that expresses an idea, an emotion or, more generally, a world view. Art is a component of culture, reflecting economic and social circumstances in its design. It transmits ideas and values inherent in every culture across space and time.
