Muntra is name of India’s first unmanned tank that was rolled out recently by the DRDO.

• It has been launched in 3 variants – Muntra S for Surveillance, Muntra M for Mine Detection and Muntra N for areas with Nuclear and Biological Threats.
• Initially Muntra has been thought to be deployed in Naxal hit areas of the country.
