• FDN-2 is name given to India’s first indigenously built floating dock that has been built by Larsen & Turbo.
• Floating Dock is an indigenously designed and built platform with state of the art machinery & control systems capable of docking warships of up to 8000 Tons displacement. 

This will be used to repair Navy ships at its Shipyard at Kattupalli, North of Chennai.
