As per the recent report from IATA, India will become the third largest aviation market by the year 2024.

IATA is International Air Transport Association is private agency headquartered in Montreal, Canada.

• The report mentions that India’s air passengers will touch 1 billion passengers by the year 2037.
• The report also mentions that China will also displace US as the world’s largest aviation market in the mid-2020. Home passenger traffic in India is growing at around 18.28 per cent.
