MC Mary Kom: India’s boxing legend Mary Kom won gold medal at World Women’s Boxing Championships held in New Delhi. It was her sixth medal in World Boxing Championships. In the final, she defeated 22-year-old Ukrainian boxer Hana Okhaya of Ukraine. Mary Kom won this medal at age of 35 years. With winning this medal, Mary Kom has become the most successful boxer in world boxing history with 6 gold medals. In this Women’s World Boxing Championships 2018, India won total four gold, three silver and three bronze medals. Mary Kom hails from Manipur.
