Sultan Azlan Shah Cup: Sultan Azlan Shah Cup is an annual international men’s field hockey tournament held in Malaysia. It is named after 9th king of Malaysia and ‘Father of Malaysian Hockey’ – Sultan Azlan Shah. It was established in 1983 as a biennial event and since 1998 was made an annual event. This year Australia won the Cup beating defending champions England by 2-1. India has won the cup 4 times in 1985, 1991, 1995 and 2009 whereas shared it in 2010 with South Korea.
