Kochon Prize: The Kochon Prize is awarded annually by Stop TB Partnership to individuals and organisations that have made significant contributions to combating the disease. The prize is endowed by Kochon Foundation, a non-profit Foundation registered in South Korea. It consists of a prize money worth US $65,000. The prize was established in 2006 in honour of late chairman Kun Lee, founder of Chong Kun Dong Pharma and Kochon Foundation. This year the Kochon Prize was begged by ICMR – Indian Council of Medical Research – for 2017.
