Prithvi Missile: Indigenously developed Prithvi Advanced Air Defence supersonic interceptor missile was successfully test-fired from a test range in Odisha. It is capable of destroying any incoming ballistic missile in low altitude i.e. endo-atmosphere or less than 30 kilometer altitude.

Andhra Pradesh Fiber Grid Project: The project aimed at providing high speed affordable internet service in Andhra Pradesh was launched recently. The project is named as Andhra Pradesh Fiber Grid Project and is also referred to Triple Play2 Services. This network will connect households, schools, panchayats, government offices, municipal corporations and public health centres to high speed internet.
