• International Telecommunication Union, the United Nations specialised agency for Information and Communication Technologies has recently released the report titled ICT Facts and Figures 2017.
• The report has claimed that India and China are home to 39% of the young internet users in the world.

 ITU was in news related to release of the report titled ICT Facts and Figures 2017. It has 193 countries as its members with its headquarters located at Geneva, Switzerland. ITU is responsible for allocating global radio spectrum and satellite orbits.
