Santosh Trophy: Santosh Trophy is an annual Indian football tournament played in India. It was founded 1941. The trophy is named after the late Maharaja Sir Manmatha Nath Roy Chowdhary of Santosh (now it is in Bangladesh). It is knock-out competition contested by the regional state associations and government institutions under the All India Football Federation (AIFF). 71st Santosh Trophy was recently won by Punjab. Saraswati Samman: It is an annual award bestowed upon Indian citizens for his outstanding literary work in any Indian language mentioned in Schedule VIII of Indian Constitution published in past 10 years. It was established in 1991 by KK Birla Foundation. It carries a cash price of 15 Lakh Rupees, a citation and a plaque of Goddess Saraswati. Harivansh Rai Bacchan was the first recipient of this award. This year it has been awarded to Konkani and Marathi writer Mahabaleshwar Sail.
