Shurhozelie Liezitsu: Mr. Liezitsu is the 17th Chief Minister of Nagaland. He will succeed TR Zeliang who resigned following widespread protests over reservation to women in local body elections. Though, Zeliang’s move was a noble move, he was criticised for the tribal groups consider reservation to women as antithesis to their Naga tradition and customs that are protected under Article 371A of Indian Constitution.
Damien Chazelle: He is the director of recent critically acclaimed movie La La Land. He has been award Academy Award in the Best Director category and therefore, aged 32, he has become the youngest winner of academy award.
Nand Kumar Sai: NK Sai is a senior tribal leader from Chhattisgarh and ex-MP. He has been appointed as the Chairman of NCST – National Commission for Schedule Tribes. He will succeed Rameshwar Oraon.
