Jallikattu: Jallikattu is the traditional bull taming sport of Tamil Nadu which has a legacy of about 2000 years. In this sport an aggressive bull is released in the crowd of the people and the people grab the hump of the bull to show their strength and stop the bull to win the competition. Also, the flags/gold tied to the horns of the bull are to be untied. Other names for the game are Sallikattu, Manu Virattu and Eru Thazhuvathal.
