Dr Nagendra Singh International Peace Award: Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar was honoured with Dr Nagendra Singh international peace prize for his efforts in ensuring world peace.

Digital Innovator of the Year: Indias IT major Tata Consultancy Services has been awarded Digital Innovator of the Year in the Ecosystem Excellence category at GEs Minds + Machines event. The 2016 Digital Innovator of the Year award recognises TCS innovation and excellenc in developing the TCS Digital StoreTM.

Sumitra Charat Ram Award: Hari Prasad Chourasia was conferred this year’s Sumitra Charat Ram Award for lifetime achievement in the field of Indian classical music. The prestigious award was given to the 78-year-old artist by Lt Governor Najeeb Jung at a function. The prize is named after Sumitra Charat Ram, of the illustrious Shri Ram family.
