M Suresh, Member, Air Navigation Services, Airports Authority of India (AAI) has been entrusted with additional charge as Chairman of AAI. This is subsequent to relieving Sanjeev Kumar of his duties as AAI Chairman, says a Government Order.

• The appointment follows the government's decision to relieve Sanjeev Kumar from his duties as the AAI Chairman, formalized through an official Government Order.
• Suresh will hold the post for three months effective Tuesday( 20 August 2024) or until a regular incumbent joins or until further orders, the order said.
• The change in leadership underscores the importance of maintaining continuity in managing India's airport infrastructure during this crucial period.
