The Indian fashion industry, Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh has launched the VisioNxt Fashion Forecasting Initiative, along with the India-specific Fashion Trend Book, Paridhi 24x25.

The bilingual web portal, developed by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), aims to provide trend insights tailored specifically to India's diverse fashion market.

At the event, also attended by Minister of State for Textiles and External Affairs Pabitra Margherita and Textiles Secretary Rachna Shah, Giriraj Singh highlighted the initiative's role in promoting indigenous design

The VisioNxt project is expected to foster competition on a global scale while elevating Indian culture and design. It is set to revolutionise the Indian fashion landscape by harnessing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Emotional Intelligence (EI) to deliver real-time fashion trend insights. By offering a tech-enabled forecasting system, India aims to assert its leadership in the global fashion market.
