An Indian team of 60 participants will compete in the WorldSkills Competition in France from September 10-15, as per an official release. Participants from over 70 countries will join this biannual skilling event, the release mentioned.

• The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) organised a send-off ceremony for the WorldSkills India Team, one of its largest contingents ever.
• The skilled individuals will compete in 61 categories at Euroexpo Lyon against top international talent. "India's participation in this global event aligns with the government’s focus on making the nation a global hub for skilled talent," the release stated.
• The competition will feature more than 1,400 competitors and over 1,300 experts, attracting over 2.5 lakh participants.
