The Austrian capital, Vienna, has made a comeback as the world’s most liveable city, according to an annual report from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) The list contacins names of 173 cities around the world that have been ranked based on a number of factors including healthcare, education, stability, infrastructure and environment.
- The Austrian capital was followed by the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and Switzerland’s Zurich. Fellow Swiss city Geneva came sixth, Germany’s Frankfurt seventh, and the Netherlands’ Amsterdam ninth.
- Cities at the bootom list were Douala, Kyiv, Harate, Dhaka, Port Moresby, Karachi, Lagos, Algiers, Tripolli and Damascus.
- Damascus is the least liveable city in the index.
