International Human Solidarity Day is observed on 20th December annually to celebrate unity in diversity and eradicate poverty
The day is commemorated to raise public awareness of the value of solidarity, to remind governments of all countries of their obligations under international accords, and to urge new efforts to eliminate poverty.
