commissioner are appointed by the President on the recommendation of the committee consisting of PM ,leader of opposition and one union cabinet minister nominated by PM as members for a term of 5 years until they attain the age of 65 years ,whichever is earlier .There is no any specific qualification for members to be appointed as Information Commissioners but they should be public eminence with wide experience and knowledge in law ,public service etc .in the eye of the President
