With reference to appointment of commissioners of the Central Information Commission Under RTI Act :
1.Commissione s are appointed for the duration of 5 years until they attain the age of 60 years ,whichever is earlier
2.Members are recommended by the committee consisting of the Prime Minister ,Leader of the Opposition and Home Minister for Appointment
3.Members should be persons of public eminence with the wide knowledge and experience in law,governance etc .
